Agelessness, Purpose, and Love

This year, I wrestled with the thought of getting older the weeks before my birthday, freaking myself out for a little bit! I ask myself now, what was that all about? I’m still here, the same person I was yesterday, but with a renewed sense of purpose.I am still experiencing life fully, I love myself, I am able to learn new things, and life is exciting. I have so much to be grateful for!
We place so much value on age and being “forever young.” It’s not about our age, it’s how we feel within! I (literally) “tripped myself up”… I fell in a hole off the sidewalk while outside walking a few days after my birthday. I felt handicapped, not being able to move around freely and pain free. However, it gave me the time and a chance to look at my life and see that there is always something new to learn, to love myself and be grateful for, at any age or place in my life. For ALL of us, it’s never too late to change directions or to learn something new… including something you might have been putting off or on hold for a long time, because you kept yourself too busy to look at new possibilities and chances

Remembering What We Already Know

Aurora Borealis in Reykjavik, Iceland Jan 2017
This year has been an amazing year for me. I have done so much as far as travel and friendships. I’ve been to some amazing places and spent time with some amazing people. I got to see the Aurora Borealis aka Northern Lights in Iceland in January. I also visited a small fishing village on the Baltic Sea with a Church that is more than 1100 years old in April. Both of these events were awe inspiring. They did leave me pausing and thinking about my purpose and place in this universe

Follow Your Guidance, Wherever it Leads!

Chapel of the Holy Cross, Sedona, AZ
We all know the importance of following guidance…wherever, whenever, whatever the cost, because you just have a feeling you’re supposed to. I got that opportunity last month when Trinity Facilitator, Debi Weinstein invited me to join her and her husband/Trinity Practitioner, Gene Weinstein, in Arizona after their training course in Lake Havasu.
With less than a week notice, I booked flights into Flagstaff and out of Las Vegas. At 5am the following Monday, after the last day of the school year and a Trinity Practitioner training weekend, I set off on my Southwest adventure. Debi and Gene met me in Flagstaff and we proceeded to Sedona. En route we enjoyed a yummy outdoor lunch in a tree-lined canyon and bought beautiful hand-made jewelry from Native American vendors. Debi was inspired to visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross, built into the spectacular red rocks

Got Guidance?

Before I sat down to write this, I asked for guidance and asked to be the pure expression of the divine truth that I am. I asked my ego-self to take a back seat so my divine self can come through and communicate to you through my all BE-ing and from a place of One-ness.
It’s one of the ways I set myself up so that I can come from a place of divine truth instead of ego based beliefs, which are mostly fear based. It’s one of the ways I access my inner intuition and my higher-self or guidance from God/The Universe/The Angels if you prefer, because actually, WE ARE ALL THE SAME.
Sometimes, I’ll just sit down with my journal when I’m struggling with an issue and write out the questions I need answers to, then use the set-up I described above to tap into my infinite divine knowledge that we are all capable accessing and expressing. For this article, I’m going to do something similar, but instead just invite in what needs to come through and write that out for you. I want to play with accessing my guidance and do it in a vulnerable and sharing kind of way!
Angela has been asking me for a blog contribution, and my thinking mind hasn’t come up with any content… so I’m going to ask my infinite-higher mind to just write what needs to be received, so here we go:
I’m going to just start typing and ask what communication my higher self would like to convey here

Are You Still ‘Spiritually Seeking’?

Are you still “spiritually seeking”? How often do we hear this term in spiritual circles?
I hold a monthly “Consciousness Transformation” discussion group meetup local to me, with the intention of bringing together those who are established and have been active on their spiritual journeys… including professional practitioners. Guidance was that it’s time to bring the community together to just “talk shop.”
And that’s what we do; it’s one of my favorite activities every month! We come together to compare notes, see where our different specific vocabularies actually mean the same thing. We talk about the very practical – relationships, etc. – to the much, much bigger picture; for example, last month, we had a pretty extensive discussion about our perceptions of Earth’s position as part of a much bigger, intergalactic project (including discussions around different star beings). It was AWESOME and fun for all of us to simply let loose and share – completely free of judgment, exclusion, or limitation.
This is why I LOVE holding this group; it’s always great to get together with other like-hearted individuals!
Last night, for the first time in quite awhile, we actually went around the circle of those present and did a brief intro of whatever each person wanted… most talked about where they are spiritually, what their journey’s been about

Tending My Own Garden

I love gardens; always have.  To me, there’s something so fundamental to my own core being … so breath-inducing …. so beautiful …. so alive.  I always feel closer to myself, closer to inspiration, closer to All, connected to All.
To me, it doesn’t matter if it’s a structured English-style garden …. Hakone Gardens which is near where I grew up and is one of the oldest Japanese-style residential garden in the Western Hemisphere …

Seeing the Miracles in Disappointment

                          Rue in bloom.
Sometimes in life –  heck, a lot of times in life! – we get frustrated with the way things are going. We have it in our minds that life should be one way, and instead, life looks anything but that vision at our present moment in time. “What have I done wrong?” we wail at the Universe. “I’m a good person, why aren’t things working out like I expect them to?” If you’re like me, most of the times there is no answer. I’ll try to console myself with the sayings “Everything happens for reason,” and “Things happen in Divine timing,” but in truth I’m just frustrated and feeling forsaken and unloved.
I usually wind up turning the situation around, swallowing my disappointments and trying to ignore the hollowness and ache of unworthiness deep inside me until I can be grateful for what I do have

Spirituality in Trips to the Grocery Store

One of the many ways that my Trinity Energy Progression practice has helped me change is how I experience my trips to the grocery store. I use to view these trips as another errand that I didn’t particularly enjoy. First, there would be the crowded parking lot, the initial glimpse of the extra time (I didn’t have) that this errand would take. The next indication was the dearth of carts, with only wobbly-wheeled ones left for navigating the crowded aisles of the store. But the produce was so colorful that I would feel a renewed sense of joy, only to find the avocados were as hard as rock and the store was out of organic spinach as well as my favorite coconut milk, while having a bountiful assortment of “healthy sweets” (chocolate-covered everything) and lots of really salty “healthy snacks” as an alternative  for those with a sugar “addiction” like me. By the time I maneuvered around the store and made my way to the check-out line, I felt a combination of guilt, frustration, pride, and anticipation for what I had chosen to buy (or not buy) only to realize that I had left my “save the Earth” shopping bags in the car when I had finally found a parking place. Guilt completely overtook me as I knew I would not go back to my car to get them

Through the Eyes of Love (True Love)

Have you ever considered who in your life really loves you? Who loves and appreciates you for exactly who you are, with NO conditions and NO strings attached? Can you think of anyone? Many of us can think of a few people who at least partially fit this description, and yet not fully. Most love is conditional and attachable. It can be fleeting and unpredictable. Conditional love isn’t true love….at least not in the divine sense. It’s not the Oneness-based, connected kind of love, and it’s usually attached to outcomes. The ego gets its footing by navigating and judging those outcomes

The Last Time

If I had known it would be the last time I would have ….
Held on longer and squeezed a little tighter
Been present to the moment and let go of the fighter
Looked deeply into your eyes to find the love that we had grown
Taken your hand and stopped time as we have known
Told you all the things that were left unsaid and spoken only from my heart
Listened more closely and tried harder to do my part
A relationship no more, life turns on a dime
But how could I have known that it would be the last time?
